I didn't bother getting the Radio Times or TV Times this year. I had a preview by looking at the cheap TV guide I received in my local paper.

And there's nothing on. Literally repeat after repeat. Game shows. Utter rubbish. Not a single good film.

I'm talking about British TV here. :D ;) The worst year ever.

Thank Heavens for downloads. ;) Least my Christmas telly has been okay that way. :D

You're not a meringue: We watched a 1951 Humphrey Bogart DVD followed by two episodes of Back Adder I.

Similarly, I had a turkey casserole, walked the dogs, missed out on HM and watched the first Harry Potter film (of a boxed set of eight bluray's that my stepdaughter bought me)whilst consuming half a box of Terry's Chocolate Orange segments. Currently, my (French) neighbours son and his mate are whizzing round the farmers field next to my house on quad bikes. Ah, the quiet rural life here in France.....

Handy to have a TV in the bedroom........BTW, 'Avatara'? Is that subtitled 'The Final Goodbye'? Anyway, ponder on this as you watch it, isn't 'unobtainium' the silliest name for something? I mean if it's unobtainable surely you can't get it? Then again, 'hardtogetium' would have been a trifle long......

So who hasn't just watched Dr. Qué ?

Really good entertainment - better than some of the carp served up in the last Series.
