My Satellite Setup
80cm motorised with quad LNB, static 28.2E with quad LNB, VU+ Duo, DM500S, DM500S, DM800HD, Openbox S9.
My Location
Manchester
My dreambox died and I need to reflash it using a Null Modem Cable. It is stuck in a wizard loop (TV System, Language etc.)

I've been told that the Null Modem Cable is not the same as a Serial or RS232 Cable.

I was searching Maplin and I found these two products:

Would these two work in flashing my dreambox using DreamUp?
 
The null modem cable IS the RS232 Cable,
Just make sure that the ends have the opsite gender to fit your computer and dreambox.
It uses 3 wires (not the 9 wire type).
