Hi Good evening just wondering what Else is the difference between Octagon SX 88 4K and SF 8008
Processor is same, Ram is DDR3 and DDR4,
Flash is 4 & 8.
Is the software same or different.
 
The SF8008 is an Enigma2 receiver, not sure if the SX88 is Enigma2?
It the SX88 is not Enigma2 then the firware will be different.

Ram is in both cases DDR3, despite what is marked in the description of the sf 8008
(here a photo of the interior of the SF8008)
SX88 is not enigma2

Thanks for your contribution I am talking about Sx88 4K UHD not Sx88
 
The SF8008 can accept quite a few different E2 images including the Define image that has been created for it.
If the Define image is loaded onto an SF8008 it does not have the full blown functionality offered by other E2 images, it is a scaled back version probably intended to provide the user with a simpler interface.

For full E2 functionality on an SF8008 you need something like OpenATV, OpenPLi, OpenViX etc, there is a lot of choice.

Are all the bugs and issues resolved or still outstanding
