Hi Good morning
Just experiencing glitching on all the channels on all the sats any suggestions. It was working fine and I changed nothing.
 
do you have another receiver to see if you get the same?

your LNB could be fried - ive had this before.
 
Reboot to another image in multiboot....still same?
 
Do you get the same glitching if you connect the LNB to the TV's satellite tuner? Has signal quality been affected or does the signal bounce up & down? Have you tried nudging the dish a little? Check the LNB connection.
 
tv tuner and other receiver working fine

signal quality is same as before
 
u cant on a SX88 - its clearly a receiver issue - send back

i guess you could try a FACTORY DEFAULT or an older firmware....

try downgrading firmware or factory defaulting or both
 
Thank you will do factory reset and report back before contacting octagon
 
i do think a firmware downgrade (easy in the upgrade menu if box online) is worth it too, if factory default dont work
 
Done factory default but it’s still doing same
I noticed it’s more on hd channels rather than sd channels very annoying
 
Try a firmware rollback mate
 
How to do rollback box is online
 
that’s the glitching I am facing first pic is normal you can see the problem in the second picture

I've had that before but it was lnb fault. Re rollback just goto menu . Firmware . And choose the previous version. I think u can go back 3 versions . Or if your not on latest . Upgrade.
 
Is it possible that tv tuner is showing normal pic but octagon is affected by problem in the lnb.
if it’s possible I will try old technomate lnb.
 
R u taking the same coax out of octagon and putting it into TV or are u going by dual output ?
 
I took the cable out from the octagon and tried into LG tv tuner.
LG tv has separate fixed dish and cable.
