Old Sky+ Box - What use ?

Hi there, In December 2005 I had sky+ installed and my old digi box went upstairs to become part of the multi room package,2 weeks ago I realised what a pile of cr@p it was (sky+ lovers please don't get offended). It had been repaired twice and replaced once with a new box which I still have now,but I downgraded back to my old set up 2 weeks ago(just the old sky digi box in the main room). Question is this, I still have the 2nd feed coming from the LNB and the sky+ box(grundig) on the bedroom floor, is there anyway I can make any use of it without a subscribsion and card? If not could I still use the 2nd LNB feed in anyway?

Any replies,comments welcome

ps, sorry for been such a novice geek :D
 
Without a subs or ftv card you are limited to the free channels and all the radio channels.

Ok thats cool, is there a list, etc of what free channels are available?
 
Why not apply to Sky for a Freesat card (£20) and receive all the FTA channels?

why not add another lnb and run the second cable to a special box??
