Along with my request for a stand-alone VC decoder in another thread, does anyone have an old Sky card?

We are probably looking for the latest yellow one.

But it might also be this one

They need to be 'active' - i.e. haven't been killed by Sky.

No, I am not mad... well, maybe slightly.

Got three blues and a yellow, you're welcome to all of them, no idea whether they received a termination signal, possibly not.

The yellow card was the last analogue viewing card and IIRC should be issue 12 (printed on white side of card above customer details/serial no._

AFAIK you will never find an "active" card as they used "entitlement dates" updated monthly OTA. There was a "hack" called the "Phoenix hack" using a PC and smart card programmer you could send new entitlement dates to the card. Very few cards were actually killed by Sky (except billing and fraudulent use problems) although when replacement cards were issued they used to regularly (and increasingly frequently) put up an on screen message to replace card.

Note also that the cards used to have numerous different separate codes prefixing the entitlement codes to denote the package they applied to.

What do you intend using the decoder and card for?

I think I may have an old card of the last issue lying around (used to have two accounts in the house (pre the days of digital multiroom) will try and find it.

Still looking, chaps... Especially active 11 series card and very old cards (series 7 and 9).

I've got a yellow card in the garage. Will dig it out later.

@Hixxy1 thanks! Let me know if you find it.

@hightech2016 - thanks for the offer but it needs to be an old Sky UK card from the 90s (analogue)

Thanks to all who responded - we have enough cards now to proceed with the project :)
