Old Sky dish

When my contract ends I am told the Sky + box is mine so will I still receive freesat and will I be able to record. Anyone know the answer please.

The box will still work for receiving the free channels. If you want to record you will have to pay sky a tenner a month "recording tax"

Be aware any tv programs you have recorded off pay channels will become unavailable to watch once you end your subscription.

Or purchase a freesat PVR where you can record FTA programming for free.
