I am clearing out my man-cave and have unearthed the following receivers:

Silvercrest SL65

Pace DS430N

I am also disposing of a barely used Alba 14" CRT TV.

All fully functional, and complete with Remote Telecommanders.

They actually do fetch real money on fleabay, but I can't be bothered with all that, so am giving them away to anyone who feels the need.

Collect only, from YO7 2JL.

If no takers, then I shall endeavour to improve Hambleton District Concil's recycling rates in due course.

SACRILEGE!

Not really, there comes a time when even the most careful storage techniques mean a clearout is required to fill the cave with more man junk essentials.

I know what you mean - I have a feeling I might have offered these items a year or three ago, with no takers, and I just couldn't bear to bin them.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Silvercrest (= Lidl - still using a few of their LNBs, bought 10yrs ago, and not that much worse than currently available stuff, on the fixed dishes!) = Coship IIRC! Very good for what you paid for them!

£39.99 for the SL65 when I bought mine from Lidl back in the day, at the time the Technomate TM1000 was the cheapest branded or indeed any other no name make of digital receiver at £90-100 depending on retailer, I think the Silver crest only has a 4000 channel memory compared to the TM's 10,000 but if you had the common sense to do FTA scans only and exclude Radio channels where you were not that fussed you could really get a good length out this and again, it was £40!!!

Before I get my knuckles rapped for hijacking the OP's thread, also got a 90cm plain White dish for like £15 or the like, amazing!

Last chance .... it is, after all, Blue Tuesday.

Otherwise, to the Tip at the weekend.
