In the first live BBC black and white TV programme since the 1970s, BBC Four revives the iconic 1960s BBC show Jazz 625 for one night only.

The link mentions Radio2 and current presenters, who are light years away from the demographic of the Light Programme, on which Jazz 625 was played out.

Is it being dual broadcast on Radio 2 (FM or streamed ) ?
 
To be honest I dont know CH - the missus pointed it out as she knew there would be some interest on the forum if I posted it!
 
Looks like its on Radio 2 - Friday NIght is Music Night - from 2000 at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival
 
BBC4. Watching it now, in glorious B&W.

Saw the originals on BBC2 in the '60s, a chance to see visiting US jazz musicians - sadly a rare event on British TV. Only other realistic way to see them was in the clubs and concerts in the UK ( which I did frequently).

Named 625 of course after the new TV line broadcast standard of BBC2.
