John Sullivan, writer of the classic comedy series Only Fools And Horses, has died after a short illness aged 64.

A lot of the writing in the programme was inspired by his own upbringing in south London.

I always looked forward to the OFAH Christmas specials, great entertainment.

RIP John, you brought us lots of laughs.
 
Saw this on the news last night and was really shocked. He really gave us some of the biggest laughs we've ever had.

The new series of Rock and Chips starting this week will be his swan song.

RIP John.
 
I truely enjoyed OFAH over the years, great show. RIP
