Came across these a few months ago and I'm yet to make my mind up, seem to get quite good reviews around the CS forums but not quite sure, and they seem to keep popping up.

Anyone have any experience?

A CCCam capable HD receiver with PVR functionality for sub £100 sounds too good to be true to me, but I'm a relative noob to these things.

The good: fast blind scan HD receiver, the bad: it's a Linux derivative but it's not Enigma. If you are looking for a cheap Dreambox alternative this is not it; but if you just want a C/S client (not server) maybe this box is for you. Vipersan has got one so maybe you could get some more info from him.
 
It's a few months since your post, I'm looking to purchase a new box, did you make your mind up and which box did you go for?

I havn't tried CS and am looking to next seasons footy coverage and should I renew my Tring Plus card or not?

The S9 is client only, which means you can't share, just freeload. So it's ok as a second receiver across your home LAN leeching off your main receiver, but no good for doing an exchange with a friend.
