Hey. I was wondering if anyone with Orbit (ArabSat) package receiver, can put some menu screen pictures on here?

I searched all the internet; but i couldn't find any clue about that.

I'd be happy to see how the info bar looks, or EPG, or any menu screen.

Thanks.

Most of the members wont be able to help you - Orbit receivers are exceedingly unusual in Europe, and most of our members are based in Europe.

I live in Turkey, Izmir, and i want to buy Orbit's receiver so that i can register it on its website and pay Orbit monthly.

In Turkey, Orbit dealers sell cards for Orbit, and the procedure is for 6 or 12 months in one charge which is a huge money to be paid by me.

That's why i want to buy Orbit's receiver.

Can i ask you something? You know Orbit's receiver, HuMax XD 200 receiver, for that receiver should there be a card in it to gain Orbit's packages? because for Philips XD 300 i know that the card is embedded in the box, but is this same for the Humax XD 200 also?

hi,
the orbit receiver is not using a smart card.
the one i have has been over the air addressable.
it is for sale on this sale section.
to find an orbit receiver is almost impossible.
there is one on e-bay uk as well.
i do not know what the smart card is for,i have never used one.
the box is running and it uese over the air addressable system.
the smart card may be for a pay per view or for tv max which is a pay per view.
the monthly subscription runs $50 per month.
of you need more information send me a private message.
orbit has more transponders on eutelsat at 25.5 degrees east so more channels i would say a 60 to 80 cm dish should be ok but i would have to look at the charts.
if orbit is going to cards thats mews to me mine is still working for 2 more months the the subscription runs out. if you have an installer to set this up you should be good to go.
without proper equipment it will be inpossible to align a dish.
if you have a fiels strength meter and spectrum like i have you should be ok
ralph:)

I asked this question for Humax XD 200 not for Philips XD 300. I know the Ebay and it's from you which is 200 gbp, and it's huge for me so thanks i'll try my chance in other sellers. :)

I've got Orbit and Super Mega package, but they say Voom and Xtra Movies aren't available because the limitations of satellite and transponder which is a lie because i receive all transponders of Orbit well.

Does someone have any information about this problem? because Orbit is lying.

What orbit decoder do you have

Of course i'm using 25.5, but these two channels say i don't have subscription which is not true as i have Super Mega.

It's Humax XD300.

They even said that TVMAX is not available. Isn't this crazy? If i get Super Mega package, i should be able to receive all channels. TVMAX channels are pay per view, but even them i cannot buy.
