Hey :)

Ok, I've been doing my homework and decided that a 7020 would be better for me as I don't need 2 tuners and there is much better community support and available files for it.

Rushed home from work (if I get a speeding ticket I'll be grumpy) to find the box waiting for me. When I open it, its a 7025! Mixed reactions... O-Ha :-doh2

I've been trying to find EMUs for it but almost all are only for 7020 and lower :(

So what to do? Do I send it back and ask for what I ordered? Do I keep it and wait for more SoftCams and EMUs? Dunno :(

I managed to open up T*S and a few others, but it went off today, and all I could find are for cams which do not yet run on the 7025 :-bash

Advice appreciated, thanks :)

I would keep the 7025.

I am waiting for my new dreambox 7020S from DCM direct and would gladly keep the 7025 if I find one inside instead of the 7020S. But as you said, the 7020 has MORE emus.

The downside is the dealer might not give you warranty for 12months if your box is 7025 and your receipt says 7020S.

Cheers.

I woudlnt return it, in fact i would sell the 7025 on ebay and buy a 7000 and still have cash left over. 7020 cant do fukall that the 7000 cannot. It claims to do more but you wont be bothered unless your an uber nerd :p

get rid of the 7025 mate its poor. Overheating problems. Seems they rushed it. I would say get a 7020 or a 7000. I would edge to a 7020 as its not as old but has more ram. But 7000 is a bargain nowadays i saw one on fleabay go for £175. btw have u read this:

Just got a 7020 instead, and it is so much more versatile (at the moment) and enigma1 certainly makes 2 look half-baked, as does the manual for the 7020.

I'm glad I've exchanged :)
