My Satellite Setup
VU+ Duo with ViX and OSCAM, Prof Revolution 7301 PCI Card, 2x Dreambox 500S, 80cm Technomate Dish with Inverto Black Ultra and TM-2600 DiSEqC Motor. Technomate TM-300D along with a few zone 1 minidishes that get moved regularly and a zone 2 for 19e a

Anyone used this yet?

Thinking of getting it on the VU+ as CCCam development has stopped. At the minute I have the entertainment pack and Premier Sports decrypting fine on CCCam 2.1.4. Is it just a case of adding an N line to OSCAM and modding a few files. I'm a bit confused but it is late. I'll have another look in the morning. This looks like the only thing on the internet that doesn't have a simple tutorial!
 
Does your box's image enable you to download EMU add-ons from a server?

If not, you will have to find an Oscam binary (mipsel if similar to the Dreambox, don't know your receiver).

Place in /temp. With a Dreambox, there's a Blue button enabling you to unpack the tar to usr/bin. Then you must Chmod to 755.

Also, you will need to place the three Oscam configuration files Oscam config, Oscam server and Oscam user in /var/tuxbox/config if you can't upload an Oscam emu directly from a server through your image.
 
It's a VU+ Duo on ViX so no emus can be downloaded. There was an IPK but it's outdated so I'll have to do it that way then. Thanks
 
Once you have it set up and working you only even need to change the binary. If the version you have is old but works then don't worry about changing it.

They have just changed the tag so I would go for version 5647 which I think is the latest stable release. 1.10rc1
The latest updates will be unstable again so use them if you wish to experiment.

Once you spend the time reading and understanding the Oscam you will find it is not as daunting as it seems.
 
Hmm.. Can't seem to find 5647, will keep looking though.
