Outlook Express

Hi M8s,

I would like to use Outlook Express to send / receive my email messages. Will appreciate if you would kindly help me to set it up. Specifically, I need to know what should I type on following:

Incoming mail (POP3):

Outgoing mail (SMTP):


Say, my account is JA123@GMAIL.COM

You can't collect Gmail via Outlook at the moment, But you could set it up to automatic forward to another email account.

The new Gmail Notifier is very good, Shows an icon on your desktop when you receive a new email and also when you click on a email address to send a new message it opens Gmail as your default email message sender.

You could combine the idea above to use outlook, forward your GMail to your isp email address as suggested above, and then configure Outlook so that it has your account set up so that your email address is that of your GMail.

Set the pop and smtp as that of your ISP.
The email being forwarded will come to your email@isp.co.uk but when you send email it will sent as email@gmail.co.uk because you set up outlook in that way.
