But would anybody recomend it..will it be just a FTA box sitting under the telly or can it be modified?? I'm looking for a HD receiver having just got a new telly..so if this was any good I might ask my mate in Scotland to buy it and send it over..can anybody here review it.

Mine was delivered here yesterday.
I needed to download the latest software release from Astra 2 and to do this I needed to change one of the parameters preset in the STB. The correct ones are given on the Pace DS810XE support webpage.
Release 1.0.18 then successfully downloaded and installed automatically.
Set-up completed and I can now successfully receive unencrypted channels including BBC HD (superb!)

No Ci Slot in this box for cams.
