Howdy folks,

Does anyone know if I can use a PACE MSS300 for S*K*Y freesat card activation? It's the blue card with a yellow house which I now have from S*K*Y but intend to use in a non-s*k*y box.

Thanks:)

Hi asv89guni, your MSS300 is an analogue receiver, so it won't work with the Sky Digital card, you will need a Sky Digibox to activate it :)

Thanks! I'll check here for the next ebay purchase before hand... Anyway, $3.60 isn't going to kill me.

Cheers

Don't throw out the MSS300, it's a damned good analogue box, very handy for finding some satellites that still carry analogue channels... :)

Still an analogue receiver, so won't activate your Sky Digital card.

So's mine, and as PoloMint said, it's an analogue box... :)

If you went back in time with it you could use it for sky analogue in VideoCrypt encryption.... :D

You can still use it you know, plenty of Analogue channels still left, I have my MSS300 to my left at the moment (lack of a Universal LNB though, the dish that's here is only an Enhanced type) and works very well, although it is my 2nd one as the first went up in smoke...
