On some receivers, one can recognize paid channels to FTA channels by a dollar ($) sign preceding the channel name in the channel list of a satellite. I am wondering how to get this feature on my dreambox?

Depends on the image, but I assume that most images have an indicator of some sort. My image shows the encryption system being used, if nothing shown then it's an FTA channel.

My dreambox runs Nabilosat image. Which one do you use? I went through all settings expecting to find an option to activate this feature but I didn't find any. You get the encryption system when you are viewing the channel. My issue is in the list of channels after selecting a satellite-services. Going through this list, encrypted channels should be indicated by a sign dollar($).

I am not familiar with the Nabilosat image but I would assume it shows the encryption used somewhere. Try pressing the info button on the remote. At the very least you can access the stream information with any image which shows detailed information, but this does require more button presses.

I doubt you will get a list of channels with a DB showing dollar($) signs, those receivers that do have this facility are not accurate in my experience.
