Don't think it's a case of nobody wanting to help, more that very few people play with digiboxes to that depth, as they are pretty much considered as disposable.
 
Several US dss sites are obsessed with jtag programming Michael, maybe Dave2 can be found on one of these, although they are mostly concerned with the STi chip I believe. (Google for dss Dave2)

You could try posting on Skybusters. They have an **ahem** slightly different goal but there are people there who are familiar with JTag.

What chip is in the pan box?? got a Jtag here from cable days.. done atmel st etc.. wasnt quite sure of programming.. removal of chip is easy enough with a solderpro 90.. Do you have a Willem???
