I guess the signal would improve but the BER would increase also and at a disproportionate rate to the increased signal level.

I've had a few PM's about my setup for 28.2ºE + 19.2ºE on the same dish. Here are the pic's. The LNB on the main arm is at 28.2ºE. The other on the holder is at 19.2ºE

Brilliant man

Is that an Edison diseqc 4:1 switch? what's the other one next to it? Are those Invacom + inverto twins? Hurry up, give us more details please :D

edit: i wonder if you could you still get 13E on that multifeed?

That's my neighbour's Teka diseqc 4:1 switch. Mine's in the Waterproof box which is a Spaun SAR 411F. It respondes to the commutation command very quick and more percisely than my neighbour's(and has less than 2.dB loss) The coaxial cable I use is Cavel 4.3mm gas injected DG70(_http://www.cavel.it/html/i_digitale_x.htm), which has been the cable that has givin' me the best perfomance in terms of Structural Return Loss(SRL). It is very flexible and you have very little signal loss. The Silver Tech is on another dish above mine receiving Hotbird 13ºE now. I get Channel Five better with the Invacom(no loss at nightfall). The White Tech is receiving 19.2ºE.

Is the dish receiving 13E the 45 digidish?

another thing, rato, i thought you said "The 40mm Inverto works better in fringe reception for me than the Invacom." on http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/forum/showthread.php?t=54569&page=2

which of your invertos was that? i am wondering as i'm meaning to get the absolutely best lnb ever :D:D

It is better. But for me to watch Channel Five without breakups at night the Invacom performs better but loses a little on other channels that I don't watch. It works better in that part of the spectrum frequency(Horizontal high), but the Inverto has worked better as a whole. I've swapped them a few time in different weather conditions & the Inverto is better(Silver Tech IDLP+ 0.3d:cool:. It now dependes on where you are & what you want to see the most.
