Parallel Rrogramming a FUN-5

Looked everywhere for a more recent version of 'Funmagic 1.40' to try and program my fun 5's but no luck - anyone know of any other software which recognises the fun 5, (512k), will enable me to use my parallel port?

We dont all have flash new programmers - excuse the pun!

sorry merlin 2004 i think you in the same boat as me.I ordered funcard 6 did not realised cardwriter latest only supports up to funcard 5.Its a sad fact of life in this game to keep up its gonna cost you dosh.The last programmer less than 18 months ago was probably last programmer you will ever have to buy.But here I am looking at a pile of 3 redundant programmers.
lastest programmers like usb connections.
Guess what? thinking about starting a pile of redundant laptops
 
Don't throw away those old laptops, particularly if they have a PCMCIA slot and win 95 or better, they are great for flashing the MR. :)
