No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Could always get the police involved, it is a scam after all, and bait them into receiving "a cheque" to cover the "fine" but instead is a small tracking device to keep tabs on where they're going (cos they'll probably use a PO Box) and let the police follow them to where they're running the scam from, big raid, scammers behind bars... :)

Well it's either a scam, obtaining money under false pretences, or a case of vehicle cloning, either way it is criminal, so should be reported to the police. Also I beilieve that there are rules for accessing the DVLA database and this would be breaking them.

If you're worried about wasting your time on this, I would suggest that pursuing them in the small claims court would be exactly that.
