Passion Plus boot-up

I have two of these boxes, both with 1.5 loader and the latest firmware (June 2010). I performed a factory reset on both after updating. To save power I switch them off when not in use. On switching on one box boots to the Passion screen and then straight to receiving a signal. The second box after booting puts up another screen with a clock and a message that it is updating data and takes another few minutes to recieve.

While not a big deal it is annoying and as it only happens on one of the boxes there must be some way of stopping it, although I can't find how. Can anybody help??
