I am new to the Forum. I would be extremely grateful for any help in finding a patch for my Samsung DSB-A300W which will allow me to watch encrypted/scrambled channels on mainly 13 east.

Yes it can be quite intimidating joining a forum and posting for the first time. There is a whole forum devoted to links to file sites if you click here there are also sites here that keep patches for stb's but are you sure they make one for yours?
