PCNE cannot find it

I have been trying to find the PCNE channel for quite some time today but with no success.

this is the information i got from their official site.
i enter the exact same information in my decoder but keep getting ''no signal''
so i registered here hoping to find some help.

Orbital Position：28.5 ºEAST
Transponder：D9S
Frequency：11623.00 MHz
Polarisation：Horizontal
FEC：2/3
SymbolRate：27500
Encryption：Clear

Have you received PCNE before today or is this the first time you are searching for it?

Can you receive Russia Today?

Do you have a DECT phone anywhere near the receiver?

wow fast reply.

yes i have received PCNE and it worked, we stopped receiving CCTV 4 so i deleted everything and did a new automatic search but that didnt have much success so i manually searched everything again. now i have everything even cctv 4 but not PCNE
 
Try erasing the transponder that PCNE is on, 11623.00 MHz H.

Then turn off the receiver and remove the plug from the mains. Leave it unplugged for at least a minute then plug it in.

Try scanning on that specific frequency, remember to ensure the Symbol Rate is 27500.

If there is no option for that, blind scan the satellite again. Make sure you have selected the right satellite at the position 28e.
 
A couple of khz either side doesnt make any difference. Its just the way my receiver locked onto the frequency.

Don't worry, all satellite receivers automatically check +/- 10MHz around any given frequency.

This is to compensate for LNB variations which are a normal part of operation. Very few people have readings that are the same as the published frequency. Mine are 2MHz out, with no problems at all.
 
alright thanks for the help, will tell you if it works tomorrow.

some difficult stuff i dont quite understand but ill find out.
 
The receiver manual should cover scanning and also transponder editing if the facility to that is available.
 
still cant seem to find it. but when i changed the FEC to 3/4 and polorarisation to Vertical.
i receive some channels but PCNE is not on it
 
theres a whole list.
i can only remember a few hope thats helps you along if not ill go check.

yes i know fec is 2/3 but i didnt pick anything up so i tried something different and changed to 3/4.

also is there a edit button?
 
Try auto FEC, if you have that option.

The 'edit post' button appears beside the reply button, once you have posted.
 
RTL 102.5 is on Hotbird 13e.

Did you install the dish yourself?

It looks like it will have to be moved to the east a bit.

I recall it may not be available to those with only a handful of Posts.

i cannot set the FEC to auto we have quite an old system. last time its updated was in 16 november 1998 =P
 
yes we installed it ourself. so 28E = 28 east?
will i still be able to pick up CCTV 4 if i changed it?
