Philex SLX link system problem

I have a problem with my slx link: When connected up to the second rf output on my Pace digibox I can control the digibox with the SLX remote, but although the picture is OK there is so much noise that it is impossible to hear the audio.

Problem is same with long or short lead, but all is OK using the TV´s Scart.

I live in Spain and my local installer has the same problem with the portable TV he uses for installation work.

Any ideas?
 
The sound from your digibox is 6mhz (the UK standard PAL I) the rest of Europe use 5.5mhz PAL B/G so a European TV (unless multi-standard) is unsuitable unless connected by Scart (direct audio/video) :chthumb

If your installer doesn't know about this sort of thing then I would be extremely suspicious about his credentials!
