Are there of have there ever been Sky Digiboxes made by Philips?
 
Not as far as I know.:)
 
There were Philips digital terrestrial receivers manufactured for OnDigital (later renamed ITV Digital) reception. There were also Philips satellite receivers made for $ly analogue reception.

Perhaps you were thinking of one of these?
