Picture No sound but lights around side

The sounds ok and there are lights around the side on
but no full picture. Man it cost me 800 3 years ago now
you can get 1 for 500.
Anyone help me out with what to look for.......with the
lights on around the side does this rule out the invertor ?
Anyone got a picture of 1 ?

All other subjects have pictorials from my Kawasaki to my
home recordings but cant seem to find anything like that.
1 of the exact same model with the same problem went
for 76 quid on ebay just yesterday i was like WHAT...tv
engineers i guess.

if you look carefully in bright light, do you see a faint picture? This would indicate inverter or other backlight problems...
