Superb. We've not yet ventured past a 26" screen yet, but the attraction is increasing.

Thanks to an unexpected tax refund I recently treat myself to a large screen tv.!

Great setup - I hope they don't decide that they made a mistake with the tax refund!

Looks good Pete. Still hanging on to the 26" Bravia here. Your Sony looks tempting, but something would have to go - a wall, the fireplace...

Yes, so am I, it's now residing in the library/junk room. I'm going to advertise it on an ex-pat website.

Now I'm home, here's some pictures of the stuff I use.

I have in the pictures, along with my rather large LCD clock, a Dreambox DM500HD (with Freesat from Sky card inserted), a Pace Prima analogue receiver, a Samsung 19" HD Ready LCD TV, and then a Sony FM tuner and a Philips HiFi. The final photo shows my Astra 1 dish in the snow yesterday.

I also have a TNTSat box but that changes place with the Prima as and when I want to use it. The card is sat on the shelf for such time as it decides to start working with a softcam.

I've got a 1.5TB eSata HDD on order for the Dreambox; just need to figure out how I'm going to get some more power sockets up there.

Also, the room is halfway through being decorated. My Mum's been doing it while I've been away but won't touch that corner as she daren't disturb any of my equipment. :D

Get yourself a cheap manual A/B switch from somewhere like maplins and you can use both without piulling the cabling apart. :D

Welp, it took me a while to tidy up my shack but here it is. My dish is in this tread: http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/...e-installations/192341-my-penta-85-again.html

This is my living room. From left to right, up to down on the stand:

JVC turntable - yes, they still exist. Have lots of scratch-free records to play and takes me back in time. A bit like the Pace MSS100 analogue receiver on the floor. Moving on...
XBox360
Marantz SR4200 AV receiver (many years old now but works as new)
Panasonic Plasma TH37PX8 TV - bought this for £300 in 2009, works great!
Kinect sensor
Gale centre speaker fed by the Marantz
Vu+ Uno :D fed by the Penta 85
Sky+ HD Amstrad DRX890 receiver fed by the mini-dish at the front of the house
No-name RF modulator to feed a small TV in the bedroom (Vu+ Uno doesn't have RF output)
Thompson router supplied by Be Internet
Dell D610 laptop working as a small server

Front speakers are by TDL and the subwoofer is by Eltax but currently disconnected
