We can only hope the other three are safe.

Sadly that's one of the risks of mining, and it's a risk they're willing to take, all for shiny black stuff that doesn't really burn that efficiently...

I briefly saw the news and saw they found one man dead, which is very sad to hear, but fingers crossed for the rest of them, it'll just be a case of waiting and watching, for all we know that one guy could have been the saviour of the other three, giving his life to save his friends and colleagues...

I guess my optimism was misplaced, they've yet to find the 4th man according to the 5pm bulletin on BBC News, so there's still a small chance, but given that the other three haven't survived, there's not a lot of hope for the last one...

Tragic indeed. Also for the poor wives and families desperately waiting and hoping to see their men surface safely.

Oh lord, that's awful news, I went to bed hoping that there would be a survivor, but that's just sad news, I feel sorry for the families that have lost their loved ones, that's just heartbreaking...

I did hear that the owner of the mine got out just before the mine flooded, which stinks of something bad to me, but I'm just a suspicious person, I'm sure there'll be an investigation and all that, but I have a feeling that mine will have no future left after this incident, people won't want to work down in there knowing what happened to 4 people...
