Hugh Hefner, the founder of the 'Playboy' magazine and associated clubs has died aged 91.

The magazine wasn't all 'tits and bums' though (apparently). Much fine writing could be found in its pages, for example from Ray Bradbury, Norman Mailer and Arthur C Clarke.

R.I.P Hugh.

The 'tits and bums' interspersed between the fine writing pages certainly helped with the audience numbers though.
Those with Amazon Prime have the ability to see a documentary on Mr Hefner without additional charge.

I owe him a lot through his magazine Playboy for improving my knowledge about female anatomy and how to call each part in English.
I think my first encounter with words like vivacious came from the articles.
I also liked the cartons by Vargas and others.
Living till 91 is probably a good proof that living a life surrounded by beautiful and sexy women is the best medicine to stay alive.

This wasn't mentioned on any of the radio stations, I listen to, Capital Xtra, Radio 1 Xtra, and Talksport, at least not when I was listening, to their news services.
Is this due to Playboy not being politically correct?
I still remember a cartoon, sometime ago, that showed Hugh Hefners funeral, at the Playboy mansion, and no one could say that he's gone to a better place now:)
 
Which reminds of a cartoon of a sultan surrounded by young and beautiful women saying to his son sitting besides him
"Son, one day all this will be yours".
Second cartoon, the son is now the sultan and all the women in the palace are over 50.
 
Compulsory orgies with Hugh Wednesdays and Fridays. No pocket money if they weren't enthusiastic enough.

OTOH, I have to admit that I probably bought a few (not many!) mags like Playboy when I was lot younger :)
