Hi,

Ive got a Twinham DTV Sat-CI card.

Ive just purchased a Viaccess cam version ????

The card says P/N 904240 Rev 1.0. THere is also DVB number 2297.

Unfortuantely, the cam does not work in the Twinham.

Im very new to cams, so unless Im missing the obvious, I think I may need a new receiver wether it be a external box or a pci card.

I would prefer the PCI card but if the cam will only go in an external receiver then so be it.

Anyone help please

I've got that very same Twinhan card but haven't got any additional CAMs yet......however the Twinhan website does state it should support the following.

Compatible CAM

I'd be interested to learn if you can get it to work.....or if the Website info is not correct.

Nope, no joy whatsover. Cam doesnt work with the Twinham.

Im now gonna ask a stupid question (total noobish)

I have a dish pointing at hotbird, can i connect a Sky box to the dish and use the smartcard i purchased with the cam :-doh!
