Hello everyone

I have a new dreambox which i bought last December but i have not opened it till today.
i want you guys to help,tell me what is the best firmware to instal in this box please if it is possible tell me where to get it from
and also what is the best/newest cam to instal in it

There is no one correct answer for your questions.

Images for linux boxes are very much a matter of personal preference, you will need to try a few to see which one suits your needs..

As for cams well that very much depends on what you want to do with it!
 
Which Dreambox?

There are quite a few you know.

DM500, DM500+, DM800HD, DM500HD, DM7020Si, DM60PVR, DM5620, DM 8000, DM800SE.

Exactly which one do you have and which type of tuner configuration does it have.

DVB-S, DVB-C or DVB-T

What are you looking to do with it?

Some images are best for people wanting to set up once and run forever whereas some are geared towards people who want to tinker/add things and get the most out of the boxes

In that case buy some subscriptions.

You wont get any help in defrauding the pay tv providers on this forum.
 
And it also helps if we knew which box you have. The question is hardly rocket science is it?

You cant give an answer unless you know the full question.

The Dreambox isn't a magical box that will open everything for nothing. You've missed that boat by about 3 years :D

Theres nothing open on keys thats worth watching anymore.

If you want free tv buy a spiderbox with the free gift, or buy a subscription.
