Please help with technomate receiver problem

My Location
south yorkshire
Hi, I have a Technomate TM-7755 2VA 2CI satellite receiver box.
I was cleaning it the other day with a damp cloth & ever since then, it just won't switch on.
There is nothing being shown on display too.

I can hear a ticking sound coming from within though.

Is there something I can do at home, to bring it back to life?

PSU (The units internal switched mode power supply) sounds gubbed mate, time to find a semi local repair shop or contact Technomate directly.
