Hi,
I was scrolling through the forum and I thought to post my questions.

I have an aston seca 1.03 and an echostar receiver.
I program my gold card with a multiprogrammer using hex files. Lately, I am not receiving Taquilla and Telepiu but as I can see, this is common to everybody.
I was told that one can search for new channels in the other satellites like M.Choice.

Can someone please tell me how to search for these new channels (even XXX).

Tequilla and Telepiu are now both on seca 2.There is no public hack as yet for this system, so for now no more free tv.

Hi,

If you want to search for XXX, you need to be able to move your dish to Hotbird(MMOV), Sirius(Tickets Channels) or Hispasat(PalcoX and XX), 16East(Private Gold) and you need a motorised dish to get these satellites, you also need a freecam2-018 or Magic cam, that would allow you to use Fun5in 1 or DS95in1. BTW there is Xzone on astra 19East which you can stiil get with your seca cam.I am not sure if you can get Multi choice from Europe.

Yes, at least I can receive Multi Choice from here!

Regarding the new channels, I was refering to those added to m.choice for example or kiosk. I never updated my receiver since I bought it (1.5 years ago). No channels where added since then?!

New channels come and go all the time....you should update your receiver.I usually do a channel search on my receiver (Force) about every two weeks and it always finds new channels.

Thanks Lee. That's my main problem. I don't know how to search for the channels. Can someone help!!!!

When I switch the receiver on from the back switch is display U300. Is this the number you want? My system is divided into satellites. Ex. first a choose Astra and then from another submenu, I select a channel name.

adam, I am afraid this doesn't mean anything to me. I own the Echostar AD3600 (printed on the front of the machine). If this is your model then I may be able to help. Otherwise others may be able to help.

Dont think U300 is OTA upgradeable, use a null modem to upgarde your receiver with software from the Echostar site.

I am not an expert u know! Ok, if I download this software, how am I going to put it on the receiver? I have just got a card programmer.

It is very easy I am no expert either, you just need a null modem 9 pin female-female (£7.99), download the software (loader) then follow instructions (just a click) and it updates for you.

www.echostar.nl, register and then go to the download area.

As it U300 version dowload the utilities as well as the new version of software.

Download the loader, run the loader, load the utility file and then load the new version.

It works and is quite different to v.U300
