Hello one and all!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've just loaded some software onto my Comag SL55 and it seems to have been successful. However, I cannot get the thing to pick up channels. Says something about a short between LNB and box. Can anyone help? Also the remote control doesn't work.

when I had my SL55 (ahh the good old days) this happened a lot if I disconnected the F connections from either the box or the LNB while powered on....can also happen if your connections are not made good enough (no loose strands of copper wire touching the main core inside the f connections..Check all connections for anything loose make sure your nice and tight,disconnect from the mains,then reconnect..this is what I found anyway..failing that go to http://comagforum.zapto.org/forum/index.php a dedicated SL55 forum and you may pick up an answer there..good luck.

I have managed to get some channels to work. My main aim is to receive Portuguese language channels. I have managed to get SIC Internacional to work twice, but it disappears after about 5 minutes! Very frustrating.
