PM functions are disabled for new members, and are automatically enabled when the member has been one for a while and has more posts. Unless the member has a good reason to need them before that.
What is your reason?

Yeah I appreciate that, I'm a complete newbie, been reading various guides and stickys, just wanna see if this guy's guide is still about and wanna be able to PM him as its no longer on the forums
