Polish TV in the UK

Tuned to Astra 2A 2B 2C
My Location

Hi All

I want to view Polish Freestat programs from TVP. I have a 60cm dish and can access the programs but I get a "no signal" message. Which satellite should I be on and is my dish big enough? I live in Suffolk in the UK.

There are a couple of FTA Polish channels on Astra 1, 19.2E, but most are encrypted.
If you have your dish pointed at 19.2E try searching 10774 H 22000,
 
Hotbird 13E has the most free Polish channels on it :)
 
Take your pick from a long list but as mentioned Hotbird 13e carry the majority.

Just had a look at 13E and spotted a few FTA:
10719 V 27500
10892 H 27500 Radio Stations only
11075 V 27500 Viva Polska
11393 V 27500
11488 H 27500

I thought there used to be more FTA channels than that on 13E, I must have missed some.

I want to get the Polish TVP freeview channels in the UK. I have a 60 cm dish and a Fortec Star receiver and am getting a strong signal but when I tune in to TVP I get a "no signal" message. I am on Astra 28.2. I get good reception in Poland with a 35 cm dish on my caravan setup and I thought that a larger dish would do the trick in the UK.
Does anyone know if TVP reception is possible in the UK and if so what do I need to do.

Please do not start multiple threads about the same subject. Ive merged the two threads.
 
If you are getting the UK channels you need to realign the dish to point at 19E or 13E.
 
You can't get signals from Satellites other than the one you are aligned to - and TVP etc are not on 28.2E.

So what you need is not a larger dish (necessarily), but a second dish (or a Motor; or a multi-LNB bracket).
