Mini dish and Samsung cyfrowy polsat receiver

my polsat box has stopped working i believe the power supply has packed up.

my wife is polish and it is actually her contract on polsat. the box was not purchased here in the uk. it is out of warranty. she doesnt want to go back to poland just to get a new box from polsat. is there any box which can be purchased in the uk to receive polsat as long as you have the viewing card? i have found the decoders on ebay but they are only for sale with a new contract so are in excess of 100 quid.
 
I'm not 100% sure, but if the card is a Nagravision card, it may work in any Nagravision embedded receiver.
 
how do i work out if its nagravision?

and what boxes available support nagravision?

Not possible to answer that as these days with Linux based boxes support for most encryption systems is available
 
can you give me 1 example please?

yes i have a nagravision card
 
does the Technomate 3500 D+ or 5400 CI+ support nagravision?

i cannot find this info out on their site
