Port Forward conundrum

My Satellite Setup
1M Dish with Motek 2100,
DM 500 & DM 800HD, Vu+ Duo,
Digital+, Sky+, TDT, Saorview
My Location
Dublin
I am attempting to change my dreambox port on my router and am linking them to my dream ip but whenever I check an online tool it keeps telling me the ports are closed! The only ports that I can seemingly open and confirm with the tool are either 12000 or 16000.

I have been receiving a cline that has 12000 in the dyndns address before I attempted to change my port. Could this have something to do with it ?

I am aware that I can change the listening port in CCcam.cfg and I have tried to change that there then select the same port on the router but again the tool tells me it is closed!

Stumped here - any suggestions.

Just to confirm, you only need to open the port you have defined in CCcam.cfg for the card you are hosting. Any clines you have in your .cfg are irrelevant
use this _http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to check for open ports
use this _http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm to help configure your router.

If you still have no joy then you might have to look towards your ISP and see if they block certain ports.
