A user (MrBogus) on another board is reporting that this procedure fixed his/her CAM (using a Samsung receiver)

- unplug receiver from mains
- disconnect LNB
- plug back in (leave LNB disconnected)
- receiver date resets to earlier date
- insert the MM; MM is then recognised as a Pentacrypt v1.10
- use menu option to put it in dreamload
- load Pentacrypt v1.09 (I guess 1.11 would also work)
- unplug receiver
- reconnect LNB
- plug in receiver. MM is recognised and usable.

Try it. May work for some.

I hope so 2old, I think some of the MM users could do with a bit of good news today. :)

had problems with cam last night,i went back to my dealer this morning after a talk they did swop cam,i was the only one with a receipt, they said cam was blown told me and others (plenty)in shop cam was useless. in the bin outside.
phoned wizzard satellite they said cam was corrupted on first line
they will reprogram for £20 DON'T TAKE BAD ADVICE OR PANIC!!.

Spot on, good advice, even if there is not a quick fix, it would appear that the CAM should still be reprogrammable.

There are several CAM experts/technicians around, we have one that posts on the forum occasionally and I believe that Tony Doe can also do the requisite.
