Possible to record to blu-ray?

Who knows, I have got a DVD/Blu Ray writer installed in the box just in case, but saying that, I am still yet to get the DVD part of the writer to record..
Best way in the meantime is to FTP your recordings from an installed hdd to a pc and get a blu ray writer for pc then do all your burning from your pc..
Don't forget though, HD broadcasts are only in 1080i and not 1080p, having said that, even some blu ray films are only 1080i anyways, not all but some
