My student house this year in Bath has a mini-dish that I'm 99% sure isn't in use. As long as that's the case, I need someone to realign it from 28°E over to 19.2°E for me, and also run two cables through into my room. (The only issue I can see is that the dish is on the front of the house and the room's at the back; but cabling can probably go through the loft).

Sorry this is a bit vague, I move in on the 17th so can say for definite what's needed then, but I'm just trying to get something provisionally sorted beforehand.

This has been done now - please could mods mark as 'Job Done'? Thanks.

You have two remaining wishes.

Lucky you had a dish there! Did you just get it realigned or did you try taping another LNB on for 19e? Any pics of the finished result?

Just a realignment, so not really that much to see other than a Minidish that points a bit less to the East than the others on the street. :D Captain Jack, who did the install for me managed to re-use the existing cable as it already went past the room on the outside wall on its way to the lounge below.

I'm using DTT for the UK stuff as I don't watch much other than the main channels anyway (We only get Freeview 'Lite' off the Bath transmitter, but it's strong enough for an indoor antenna). When my VU+ Duo comes in a few days I'll put my NOVA-T USB DVB-T stick in it and all will be well. I'll get some pics of the whole system when that's all set up.

Ideally I would have gone for Hotbird as well but it's obviously too close to put a second LNB on the mini-dish for it. I'm happy with the choice of French and German channels on Astra though!

Ok, good Feedback.
