Hi, I am looking for a crack for this encryption system. I can receive audio channels but i can;t get any video out of it. Does anyone have the crakc for the video. please let me know. Thanks
 
There isn't one as far as I know, you also require a dedicated receiver to demodulate it and decrypt it, there isn't a CAM available. Do a search on this forum using "powervu" as the key word and you will find several threads discussing this.

Some basic research has been done recently by Colibri.

It's more about the receiver's FW bcs PowerVu works without access cards.
 
The PowerVu system is 10 years old and still noone knows how it really works? Hard to believe, but obviously true? :)

I keep on collecting informations I find out by myself or which others tell me of on my homepage at www.growl.de/d9234 Maybe it answers some of the most common questions already.

I've been looking for circuit diagrams for quite a while, maybe somebody can help?

I see the Al7bar software in Fortec receivers' code menu have listed Powervu as a possible option - is this just fantasy, or is there something in the pipeline? (I'm a betting man, but I wouldn't lay odds on it).

i have worked out how to mod it to a standard baud rate just change the crystal from 8.0000mhz to 7.3728mhz the baudrate is then 115200,8,2,s
