McLaren once again headed Friday afternoon's second practice session for the Chinese Grand Prix, but this time it was Lewis Hamilton who set the pace with 1m 35.217s. The times were close, however, with Mercedes GP's Nico Rosberg again separating the MP4-25s with a best lap of 1m 35.465s compared to Jenson Button's 1m 35.593s. Michael Schumacher was well in the hunt with the second Mercedes on 1m 35.602s, and the two Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber completed the sub-1m 36s runners with respective times of 1m 35.791s and 1m 35.995s.
