Pre N Routers & Dreamboxes

Vu uno, VU Duo2, sky dish, 2 zone 2 dishes for 19.2 and 23.5. Satlink meter, rover STCeu meter. Tripod with a dish for messing around.

Hi,

I have tried a D link 615 and a TP link Pre N router and neither router will give my dreambox an IP address. any one come accross anything like this before, it is doing my head in!!
 
Well in one or the other the DHCP server option will have to be ticked for it to work in that mode. Have you checked it is?
 
Hi, yes all settings are fine, i have 4 routers, excuse model numbers as i am not 100% sure

Tp-link 108 mbps - works fine
Netgear 614 54mbps - works fine
D-link 615 (N) 300mbps - wont give dreambox 500 (clone) an ip but works on 800
TP link 150 (N) 150mbps - Same as the D Link

all settings are sound on both router and dreams, i think it is a router related problem.

does anyone use a 500s replica type with a pre n router that works perfectly?

Edit** before anyone asks it must be a pre n router as i have 50 meg internet and it doesnt work on anything less.
 
Well quite frankly I think the chances of someone having a dreambox and either of those two routers is minimal. What is the requirement to get them working with your setup if you already have a working setup with the other routers?
 
Does anyone have a 500 replica and use a pre n router? i think it must be something to do with the nic/mac of the 500s. i am buying a very expensive router tonight £120, will test it and let you know
