Prehistoric Triax help required

I have a large (115 ish), old (late 1990’s?) Triax and need a new lnb holder. Any ideas what model dish this is?? And apologies for the poor quality nighttime picture

Looks like a TD110 but the feed arm looks a bit odd. Mine is 10 years old and the decal is completely weathered away. That dish looks quite new. I’m sure the pro installers here will have a better idea but here’s one supplier that seems to supply the part you might need TRIAX LNB Holder Aluminium TD Paranbol 40mmØ

Would it be possible to repair the holder with super glue if it’s only cracked. I’ve done that successfully in the past.

Given the width and rigidity of that arm, I'm guessing that the dish is intended for uplinking/downlinking data to/from a sat, as opposed to just reception - that seems to be confirmed by the dish types (TDA, TDS) mentioned in the link posted by @Satspot, are not the "normal" TD type usually sold for domestic reception purposes.

@pjoslo If you do not manage to find original LNB holder, I could help you with what is seen on the picture. Imagine the wooden plank is the feedarm, so, you would need to drill 8mm hole in the feedarm and then install the holder.

That dish was offered in two sizes, 1.0 and 1.2m confuguration, it predates the design with the 'crimped' elevation locking system.

I doubt you will find one unless you can locate a scrapped dish from somewhere.

Whilst it looks substantial, the H section steel is thin and has a tendency to flex in the wind. Similarly the dish surface is strong but riveted only to two light steel spars. Not really suitable for uplink work.

What does look interesting is there’s hardly any evidence of weathering on the dish or arm and the lnb is the only sign it’s been mounted outdoors with a bit of green mould around the base. Wondering was that lnb transferred from another dish at some stage
and if that dish was ever used. It looks quite new.

Lnb came from my old dish. I was given the Triax by a neighbour to try and improve fringe reception. The dish was not in use, but mounted on a barn when i collected it. It had been in use for many years i was told…

Triax TD 1.1M - Help! Spare Parts!

LOL, Just put my latest dish together. No instructions included. No instructions on Triax website. Works fine. Looks good. Problem :- I still have these spare parts!!! Anyone with a brain got a clue? Thanks! :o
