The storm hit Helsinki overnight but it is much weaker now and so it was just a normal wet and windy night really.

My friend in Denmark said that there were three deaths there and loads injured. Speeds up 200km/h - so I guess it strengthened on the way there.

We also got some left-overs from your storm. I was driving last night and did see lots of broken trees, lots of electricity breakdowns all around. Fortunately no casualties. I also hope my sat-yard has no damage.

Some trees down in the costal parts of Netherlands and Belgium but it did not really affect inland areas.

The media hype in the UK made it out to be a hurricane Judas but not so in reality.

As my dish is on a tripod, I decided it'd be the best idea to lie it flat (I put bin bags over the LNBs and DiSEqC switches which kept them dry enough while lying flat.
