Prime Focus or Offset Dish?

Would someone please educate me as to the pros and cons of both types of dish?

Looking at purchasing a 1.4m 1.5m dish as residing on the fringe Sky area on the Algarve in Portugal.

Currently have a 1.2m dish but many chanels break up in the evenings.

Do a search in the forum Kidson, there are loads of threads about the differences in these two types of dish.

What make is your 1.2 meter dish, because there can be BIG differences off GAIN between dishes.

What type of dish are your neighbours, local bars etc using??

i would say go for something bigger than 1.5, 1.8metre will give a massive improvement
