Problem with dreambox 7020

Hotbird 13E Dish + Sky Dish 28.2+ Dreambox 7020 + Gemini 4.1

Hi, I have a dreambox 7020 with Gemini 7.1 image.
I have installed all the usual emulators and latest keys via blue button.
When I start an Emu (let's say Newcamd) and try to watch any
encrypted channel like multivision after a while the channel appears but a few seconds later the screen freezes and goes blank.
I have tried different Emus and images but get the same result.
Any idea what the problem could be?

Gemini 3.1 image perhaps?
Try to open the France 4 channel ( not the ABsat but the unknown provider=TPS) and it should clear after few seconds.
If nothing happens, leave it for upto 24 hours.
 
Thanks for your reply I will try that tonight, just wondering what is the reason for leaving it connected for 24 hours.
 
the reason for going to 13e France 4 is because your box receives some extra information while opening this channel, this information then opens up lots of other channels on 13e such as TPS Foot and Multi's

its very unlikely you will need to leave your box connected 24hrs, it just that its been reported some do.

but in both mine and HB13DISH's expierience just a few seconds is needed :)

That worked! :-thumb1 I can get most of the channels under unknown provider now, still can't get canal+ don't know why?
What about other providers such as ABSAT (can't get dorcel TV) or
BSKYB (some channels but not sky one, sky cinema, ...)?
Do I need to change to a particular channel like unknown provider to do the magic? Thanks for your support.
 
To get any channels at all with SKY you need a sky card, its encrypted with NDS... the equivelent of a steel door :)

by the way what image are you using? since there isnt a Gemini 7.1, do you mean 4.1?

installing a cam such as CCcam 2.04 and then the satan key bundle will help, and if your really want to go for it, install an auto updater so you can install new keys in futur by pressing the yellow button.

as said in other posts, try going to 13e and channel "France 4" you will see 3 channels with this name, goo the one with the EPG unknown provider.
when the channel clears so will many others that your having problems with.

Dorcel is secured. I am out of range of Sky transmission, but it is secured with NDS encryption. Need subscription I am sure.

I have a valid/activated sky subscription card which is only for non-premium channels . How can I pair it with my dreambox? Will I get premium channels with CCCamd and satan key bundle installed or not?

I have 2 dishes one on hotbird 13E and one for sky on 28.2E. So do I need subscription for Dorcel on hotbird and how?

Sorry for asking so many questions but I'm sure you are the experts in this area RedDevil_UK and HB13DISH!

No, you will only open the channels you have paid for... non premium.

i have a subscription to SKY also, and i am able to put the card into my dreambox, send the dish to 28.2e and watch sky channels
at present i have a few CAMs downloaded but only CCcam2.04 opens sky up.

As for Dorcel, i cannot view it either on 13e or 19.2e
so unless anyone knows different, i would say its subscription only :(

If you want a sub for Dorcel, then there are several options:
1 - As part of the ABSat package. Too expensive since the other channels are absolute rubbish with low bitrate quality and terrible programming (except for XXL).
2 - As part of the InxWorld package. You get also 3 other low quality channels.
3 - As a dual for XXL and Dorcel smartcard.
Option 3 might be the best value for money. If you can't find it in the UK, try to look in Europe. Seen it in an Italian shop not long ago.
Don't forget to choose the correct encryption when ordering to match your box CAM (embedded or CI)
